A Sample of Student Response

It is important to read postings made by your classmates with an open mind. While responding, ensure to include the student’s names and describe the points that everyone can follow along. Whether asserting a disagreement or agreement, ensure you provide both credible and clear evidence to back your response. When in disagreement with your classmate, ensure your responses remain respectful and are in an academic tone. Below, you will find a Student Response sample that you can borrow a few ideas when working on a similar paper.

Hello Arutla?

Vendor-managed inventory is an innovative e-commerce activity or process which is found within collaborative commerce (C-commerce). It would be better to classify it within C-commerce rather than presenting it as an innovative system on its own. C-commerce relates to the electronic collaboration of business partners in a supply chain, where the business partners engage in other transactions other than buying and selling (Turban, King, Liang& Turban, 2012).  Some of the collaborations made include retailer-suppliers, vendor managed inventory product design, and collaborative manufacturing. The vendor inventory management is a service provided by suppliers to retailers where the supplier monitors the inventory levels and replenishes it accordingly. It is an agreement between the supplier and the retailer as partner, no party is obligated to the other (Turban et al., 2012).

Hello Singh?

You have a great discussion on the innovative e-commerce models. I agree that e-learning is one of the most widely used innovative e-commerce systems. In 2010, the global e-learning market was valued at $52.6 billion. E-learning is the use of ICT for education and training purposes (Pramila, 2011; Turban et al., 2008). It comprises distance learning, virtual universities, and delivery of academic content over the internet. E-Learning is also exploited in corporate training and, at times, involves the use of applications and games (edutainment). The use of e-books for academic purposes falls under e-learning; however, e-books may also fall under online-publications, another innovative e-commerce model. Online publishing involves the electronic delivery of books, magazines, newspapers, music, videos, and other digitizable content (Turban et al., 2008).
